A view of the Pacific Ocean coast
Costa Rica was visited in February 2009. The round trip from San José started in the mountains of Cerro de Muerte to watch quetzals and hummingbirds. The Corcovado National Park in the Southeastern part of the country came next, from where the trip continued along the East coast up to the Manuel Antonio National Park, and further to the Nicoya peninsula and the Tambor area.
