The open waste disposal site just West of Salalah, Oman is an excellent place to photograph the flight of white storks. To avoid the not so pleasant view and smell, position yourself just South of the dump and look up at the large flocks of storks migrating to and from the site.  Then you don’t need to waste time photographing migrating white storks in Israel in the spring or at the Bosphorus in the autumn!
